On Wednesday, September 9, 2020 eLuma clinicians discussed healthy relationships between schools, clinicians, and families at a Partnership Showcase. Pola Morrison, an eLuma psychologist, shared strategies for clinicians to communicate with schools and parents while setting healthy boundaries during COVID-19. Jean Blosser highlighted her research on parent and family relations in her recent publication Let’s Talk Today! A Calendar of Daily Activities for Teaching Language Skills at Home. It engages families and provides parents with confidence, activities, and techniques to play a meaningful role in their child’s communication development and improvement.

Pola Morrison has been a school psychologist for 20 years in k-12 districts across the nation and as an Accessibility Services Director in Higher Education. She has a longitudinal view of how special education supports individuals in education because she has serviced students early to adulthood.
